The FET13S Guitar Piezo pickup preamp is a special high quality preamp with piezo pickup element for acoustic guitars, has a very high impedance input , which

ensures that the high-impedance output of the piezo not getting loaded so the frequency response of the pickup piezo gets much larger. The piezo element therefore is specifically selected for this purpose which results in a natural tone of the guitar itself. The amp has no frequency correction or tone control.

This preamplifier is straight frequency characteristic!
Most guitar amplifiers with piezo are colour tone controlled, this results in not longer matching the original sound of the guitar itself, they have a totally different sound, those amps have no straight frequency response.
The FET13S tries to get the original guitar sound as good as possible to approach, with high quality.The output impedance is very low so inductance and capacitance of the cable has almost no effect.

The FET13S comes with its carefully selected piezo pickup and 9 Volt battery clip and a Switchcraft jack socket.

Please note that during installation, the preamplifier is sensitive to electrostatic discharge, only use soldering irons with transformers and grounding !

It is important that the fet13s only get installed by qualified guitar technicians !
